Imi aduc aminte cand eram pustan, 10-12 ani, si aproape ca plangeam pe muzica lui Dolly Parton la melodii ca Jolene sau Coat of Many Colors. Recunosc, am fost un copil sensibil dar si nesuferitii astia de cantareti country stiu foarte bine unde sa te apese pentru a-ti stoarce o lacrima... ;)

Iar despre George Strait... Cum suna 31 de albume in ultimii 32 de ani? Suna bine, nu? Omul e prolific si foarte bun! Dupa ce a scos in 2004 compilatia 50 Number Ones (care continea, ca sa vezi, 50 de hituri ajunse pe locul 1 in topurile americane), a mai reusit sa adune in 2007 inca vreo 22 de hituri pentru un album, la solicitarea fanilor, melodii care poate n-au ajuns toate pe primul loc dar sigur au facut istorie. Nu degeaba i se spune King George...
